D and G Complete Fashion Collection 2009
A hymn to the Lyric for D and G and one of the leading exponents of Italian opera, Maria Callas, which in 1953 recorded the Bellini's Norma at the Metropol, location that the pair of fashion designers Dolce and Gabbana have chosen as headquarters of the walkways.
The image of Callas appears fashion printed on t-shirts and posters of the damage to life on bodices velvet evening dresses with flowing skirts in floral fantasy fashion.
The fabrics and accessories are created right inside the theater, belts like strings pulling the curtain, velvet, brocade on mini dome raised platform with the dizzy heights sleeves and bodices with damask inspired clothing typical of the theatrical scene fashion.
